Jahtari has been spreading its distinctive brand of heavyweight 8-bit digi-dub since its founding in 2005 by Disrupt and Rootah in Leipzig, Germany. Deep, Tuff…but not-too-serious at the same time, the label’s “digital laptop reggae” sound championed by Jahtari’s artists has gone on to become a sub genre within the sound system sphere in itself.

Label founder disrupt brings his Gameboy and Laptop to run riddims King Jammy style for an extended dubbed out live session. Joined by one-of-a-kind mic sorceress Kiki Hitomi (WaqWaq Kingdom, Black Chow, King Midas Sound), who will perform an intense intergalactic live set, meshing epic Japanese Enka vocals with raw dancehall, Casio beats and a Kaossilator, dubbing out many tracks from her classic “Karma No Kusari” LP.
